Noosa Heads, SE Queensland, Australia.

Noosa Heads, from Laguna Lookout.

Think Noosa Heads, think the beautiful beaches. Yes. But there is so much more. The gorgeous Noosa National Park and it as an entry point to so many beaches and fabulous walking tracks among the temperate rain-forest, scenic views and rugged coastline jutting into the mighty blue Pacific Ocean. The Noosa River, the many canals and waterways, the nearby Noosa Everglades and hinterland, and lookouts like Mount Tinbeerwah.

Of course, there is also town, shops, restaurants and much more in-between. So good in the Winter, wonderful most others times, with a cooling swim never far away. Just watch the bull sharks in the river, although no crocodiles here, thankfully. Too far south.
