So pleased to be on the road again, lucky to be healthy enough and able to once again appreciate the great outdoors of south eastern Queensland, Australia. Tonight we are in the food bowl and fruit growing area of Mundubbera, roughly 4 hours drive north west of Brisbane. Already we have purchased and treated ourselves to the delicious and fresh oranges and mandarins from here. Delightful!.

Attached below are some pictures of the adjacent Burnett River, and a little south down the road, some incongruous boab trees, more usually seen on the north west coast of Australia, not its east coast.

More pictures of our futures travels over the next week to be posted here, including more images of the coast, as we return there tomorrow, to the Wide Bay and Fraser coast region. That could be special, given it is over 25 years since last there.
