After the most spectacular of breakfasts at our five star accommodation (we were obliged to move there for one night as our other accommodation was double booked – we lucked out), we headed to Litchfield National Park some 200 km from Katherine to the north west, on the way to Darwin.
Images below are from Litchfield. So divine, refreshing and beautiful.
Above Wangi Falls on the scenic treetop loop walk.
Wangi Falls. What a great swimming spot. I also snorkelled and many fish about including barramundi.
Tollmer Falls. Great view but no swim here.
Tabletop Swamp.
Florence Falls. What a great swim too.
Walking into Florence Falls. So beautiful.
Final stop at Buley Rockpools. So many small pools, near Florence Falls. Easy access.
