Good bathroom view it must be said. Also note Aussie ad on small screen.
And equivalent view at night.

Typical older architecture in Vancouver (Gastown).

Seaplanes (or float planes) on Vancouver Harbour.

Sunrise from our hotel room.
Enjoying Vancouver once more. Completing our North American trip with time off in Vancouver. Love the sea wall walks around Stanley Park. Enjoyed the ‘Flyover’ experience at the harbour, although my TP was less enamoured, as it was somewhat anxiety inducing for those who do not like free falling plunges into ravines, chasms and from high mountains. Indeed, quite a guttural experience.
A safe, open-minded and welcoming city. It is so nice to be in Canada and we will be back. But still a few more days to wind down and enjoy the sights and sounds, and see a few more cruise ships come and go.

The Sails at Vancouver Harbour. Uusally a cruise ship tied up here.

Laughing men. A cynical message about a certain denied event.

Leaving downtown area of Vancouver, heading toward western side of Stanley Park.

One of Stanley Park’s lakes with many water lilies and flowers blooming.

No mermaid – Copenhagen objected – instead a lady in a wet suit. West side of Stanley Park.

Very efficient ferries, with alternating stern and bow for each subsequent trip.
Last day in Vancouver was rather smoky with numerous bushfires to the north east of British Columbia. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the ferry ride to North Vancouver, being a very affluent and up-market neighbourhood across the harbour. We were also in the company of much wealth, as the 96m yacht docked nearby attests.

Super yacht at North Vancouver.
In any case, we have loved Vancouver, the weather has been kind and mild, the people friendly, the town not too hectic and apparently safe in the area we were staying at Canada Place at the Harbour of Vancouver.
