Mountain view of Banff and surrounds. So stunning.
Well, what a fun gondola ride and the view so spectacular. Yes, it was very busy with queues being Sunday and peak summer period. Nevertheless, some of the most stunning views so far. And that is a big statement, given what we have already seen.
Also had a great presentation and Q&A with a retired ‘mountie’ (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). Very informative and highlighted the diversity, the size and the challenges of those who live further to the north. So interesting.
Tea too was marvellous, with a buffet and wonderful fresh food. We are being treated so well. We do love Canada, and the Canadians. So more pictures below of the Banff area.

Banff Spring Hotel. A famous ‘local’.

The gorgeous Bow River that runs through Banff, and strangely, runs all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

Banff town view. Very attractive town.

Mountain view, looking away from Banff to the west.

More Banff mountain views.
Here’s hoping we get a clear day in the morning for a helicopter ride over this awesome scenery, with adjacent peaks exceeding 10K feet.
