The centre of proceedings celebrating BC day in Victoria, CA.
Today was a quick flight from Vancouver to Victoria (about 20 mins airborne), then we arrived in the special area of Victoria. To explore more tomorrow, while tonight was festivities right outside our hotel, including the Victoria Symphony orchestra and late evening fireworks. A very gentle and friendly crowd.
Our home base for two days, the Empress Hotel. Tour starts now.
Met some of our fellow travellers. The sights and sounds we are about to see are going to be special.

So, after a nice meet and greet, we start the tour in Victoria. Some fun days to come it seems. Time to get that good night sleep. 7am start tomorrow. Some great scenery and adventures beckon, and good food and hopefully company too.
